Alumni, Team, and Group Travel

St. Andrews, Scotland

Day 1 – Travelers are met at gateway airport by USJT Golf Travel escort for overnight flight to Edinburgh, Scotland.

Day 2 – Arrival in Edinburgh, following clearing immigration and customs travelers will transfer to St. Andrews. Earliest possible check-in will be arranged. Orientation and dinner (provided) later in the day, optional balloting for Saturday play on Old Course

Day 3 (unlimited play) – Breakfast and golf (18-holes or more) on St. Andrews Links Trust Courses. Tee times will be arranged based upon golfers’ preferences and abilities, evening time to socialize, explore the city, or just take in the beautiful sights; on the Old Course. Optional balloting for Monday play on the Old Course

Day 4 (unlimited play) – Breakfast and golf today is players’ choice. Tee times and amount of golf will be arranged based upon golfers’ preferences. Visit to the British National Golf Museum or Heritage Golf, makers of wood shaft clubs. Optional balloting for Tuesday play on the Old Course.

Day 5 – Group photo day on Old Course, pictures on the Swilcan Burn, in front of the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse, or in the famous Road Hole Bunker on #17, take a walking tour, enjoy the beach, horseback riding. Tour St. Andrews Cathedral and Castle, enjoy the Fife bicycle ways. Golf is on your own.

Day 6 (unlimited play) – Breakfast and morning round on The Castle Course, the newest of the seven Trust Courses; lunch on your own and a later-in-the-day round on The New Course (optional); evening time to socialize.

Day 7 – Breakfast and 18 holes on Crail Balcomie or Dukes or Fairmont Torrance Course depending on availability. Time for last minute shopping and pictures; prepare for early departure in the morning.

Day 8 – Early breakfast and departure for Edinburgh Turnhouse Airport arrive in the States later in the afternoon.
